Job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Die Casting Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die casting machinery to produce high-quality parts. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a foundry or die-casting environment, a strong eye for detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate die casting machines and auxiliary equipment according to blueprints and process specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations, adjust controls (temperature, pressure, cycle times), and troubleshoot minor issues to ensure consistent quality.
  • Ladling molten metal into a machine or managing automated pouring systems safely.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Prior experience as a Die Cast Operator is highly preferred.
  • Training Availability: Must be able to work 1st shift temporarily for the initial training period before transitioning to the permanent 2nd shift.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working around heavy machinery and high temperatures.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to [e.g., 50] lbs regularly
