TOOL & DIE TECHNICIAN - 3RD SHIFT
Build. Repair. Keep production moving.
If you take pride in precision work and enjoy solving mechanical challenges, this is your opportunity to work hands-on with complex tooling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We're looking for a skilled Tool & Die Technician to help maintain and improve our die casting and trim dies-keeping production running efficiently and producing high-quality parts our customers depend on.
What You'll Do
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on casting and trim dies.
  • Tear down and rebuild dies for refurbishment and performance improvement.
  • Machine and modify parts using lathes, mills, and grinders.
  • Troubleshoot issues like cooling line blockages, leaks, and material defects.
  • Install and maintain cooling systems using blueprints and die specifications.
  • Perform TIG welding and precision tool repairs.
  • Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and sandblasting equipment to restore tooling.
  • Document repairs and maintenance in the system.
  • Work both in the toolroom and on the production floor.

What We're looking For
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of experience in a machine shop, manufacturing, or plumbing.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, or die casting (preferred).
  • Ability to read blueprints and work with precision measurements.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and complete a Journeyman or Apprenticeship program.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Hands-on role in a hot manufacturing environment requiring standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working with tools and machinery.
  • Safety is a top priority, and proper PPE is always required.
