About Role

Ring Concierge is a rapidly growing female-founded fine jewelry company specializing in customized engagement rings and fine jewelry. We are seeking a Bespoke Diamond Sales Specialist to become an integral part of our team. Ring Concierge provides a luxury one on one shopping experience for their clients - previous experience with clienteling and diamond sales is required. The ideal candidate has the ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.ย 

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Drive sales by building strong client relationships and consistently exceeding individual sales targets
  • Use extensive diamond and bespoke product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer
  • Achieve an environment for our clients that is reflective of the Ring Concierge aesthetic and company values
  • Oversee all facets of sales transactions
    • Initial consultation/Identify client needs
    • Work with production team on sourcing diamonds
    • Present diamonds to client (both local and long-distance) and finalize setting design
    • Close sale
    • Oversee production timeline
    • Maintain continuous and effective communication with client through sales cycle
  • Maintain all customer information in an organized manor for our CRM program
  • Proactively look for opportunities to drive Bespoke and Fine Jewelry sales growth by identifying new leads and clienteling opportunities
  • Maintain a high level of awareness and concern for inventory control and loss prevention

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients
  • Subject matter expert for diamonds and fine jewelry
  • Ability to continuously adapt as the business evolves and grows
  • Must be highly organized, proactive and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of prior retail sales experience in fine jewelry required
  • Bachelor's or GIA Degree preferred
  • Proven experience in luxury sales, fine jewelry, or diamond retail, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Must be proficient with Mac computers, and Google Suite

Details

  • Full-time role located in midtown NYC
  • Office Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed office hours (with the possibility of weekends during busy season, sales or events)
  • Travel may be required to meet with clients

  • The salary for this position is $72,000 plus meaningful commission
