MV Transportation is Now Hiring Drivers for the City of Cerrito's Dial-A-Ride Service!

Starting wage is now $20.50 per hour!

Who You Are: 

As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a transit motor vehicle, providing reliable and efficient public transportation.

Qualifications:

Driver Minimum Requirements: 

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical. 
  • Possess excellent communication and decision-making skills. 
  • Must be able to assist passengers including those who use walkers, wheelchairs, and/or other mobility devices on and off the vehicle.
  • Must be able to transport passengers with disabilities including providing door to door service when required.
  • Must be able to safely and professionally manage conflict and/or difficult situations involving passengers.
  • Must be able to accept and accurately record passenger fares including cash, tickets, passes, and transfers.
  • Must maintain a valid driver license and all other required credentials, certifications, and qualifications.
