JOB SUMMARY
DFA has an immediate job opening for a dependable CDL-A delivery truck driver to operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently and manually unload/deliver various ice cream products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. This position is based out of our depot in McDonough, Georgia. Our drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

COMPENSATION:
  • $32.70 per hour
  • Overtime applies after 40 hours
  • Paid Weekly

SCHEDULE:
  • The schedule for this opening will vary, depending on the route. Our drivers typically drive 1-2 routes in town and 1 route that requires a 2-night layover.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 3 years related experience in food-service industry preferred (multiple stops, customer interaction, touch-freight)
  • Valid Class-A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • 21+ years of age
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to push, pull and lift up to 55 pounds
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
