Glow Networks, a premiere technical staffing agency in Dallas, TX., is pleased to offer this position to qualified engineers in Denver, CO.
Wind River Cloud Platform DevOps Specialist will focus on designing, developing, and automating the edge deployment infrastructure that supports edge computing (DU) and 5G. This role is critical for ensuring that the physical and virtual resources required for NFV are correctly deployed, managed, and optimized. This role will include skills in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, automation, and hands-on experience with Wind River Cloud Platform, which is designed for edge computing (DU) and 5G.
Years of Experience: 5- 8 years
1. Technical Skills:
โ€ข Cloud Platforms: Expertise in Wind River Cloud Platform is essential. Experience with other cloud platforms (Kubernetes, VMware, etc.) is also valuable.
โ€ข DevOps Practices: In-depth understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
โ€ข Containerization: Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes (container orchestration and management).
โ€ข Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts, especially in edge computing and 5G environments.
โ€ข Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
โ€ข Scripting Languages: Strong skills in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate deployment and management tasks.

โ€ข CI/CD Pipelines: Extensive experience in building, maintaining, and scaling CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of applications/services.
โ€ข Multi-Cloud & Hybrid Environments: Experience in managing deployments across multiple cloud providers or hybrid cloud environments.
โ€ข Migration: Proven experience in migrating from VMware to Wind River platforms, including execution, and troubleshooting of migration processes
โ€ข Performance Management: Knowledge of Windriver Analytics.
3. Responsibilities:
โ€ข Lead the design and development of Windriver Controller and compute deployment for Open RAN (DU) and Core NF's
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality products.
โ€ข Build the Automations i.e playbook for the Continuous Deployment.
โ€ข Ensure the automations adherence to best practices and coding standards.
โ€ข Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
3. Education & Certifications:
โ€ข Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields. Advanced degrees are a plus.
Certifications: Wind River Certification (if available)
Cloud-related certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer.
Linux administration certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE).
4. Soft Skills:
