Job description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, manage, and scale the automation, tooling, and delivery pipelines supporting our research and trading platforms. You will work closely with the Systems team to refine deployment workflows, maintain internal operational tools, and expand our capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Container Orchestration: Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments and workload deployments.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Engineering: Design, build, and maintain deployment pipelines to support diverse technical workloads.
  • Deployment & Configuration: Implement automated configuration strategies to standardize operational practices and improve delivery speed.
  • Tooling & Enablement: Develop internal tools and automation that simplify infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Linux Systems Engineers and internal technical stakeholders to align delivery pipelines with operational goals.
  • Operations & Best Practices: Maintain observability tooling (monitoring, logging) and author technical documentation to establish scalable best practices.
  • 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE role within a Linux-centric environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes management and deployment strategies.
  • Proven experience building and scaling CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI or similar tools).
  • Proficiency with Linux system administration, shell scripting, and configuration-driven tooling.
  • Familiarity with observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: Prior experience supporting quantitative research, trading platforms, or high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
