Summary
Title: Cloud Developer ID: 1601 Department: Information Technology Location: East Hartford, CT
Description

Why This Role Matters

We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, thrives in ambiguity, and is excited to help shape how a business evolves through technology. We don't have everything fully built-and that's by design. This role is about exploring, learning, building, and continuously improving how we operate.

You'll work at the intersection of business, data, and technology-partnering directly with teams across the organization to rethink processes, unlock insights, and introduce new technology capabilities that drive real impact.

A key part of this role will eventually be to help guide our ERP transition and support our migration to Microsoft Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM)-a foundational initiative that will reshape how our business operates, integrates systems, and makes decisions.

If you're someone who loves to learn, experiment, and become the "go-to" problem solver, this is an opportunity to help define the future of how we work.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build business applications using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Python, and C#
  • Develop and manage SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases
  • Create Power Automate workflows to streamline operations
  • Build Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Work directly with business teams to understand challenges and translate them into scalable solutions
  • Help shape and evolve our AI strategy and roadmap
  • Design and build custom agents to solve key business problems.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI and Technology to improve workflows, decisions, and customer experience
  • Build and deploy technology tools (Copilots, intelligent workflows, automation agents)
  • Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on new ideas
  • Serve as a key contributor in our transition to Microsoft Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM)
  • Support ERP-related data strategy, integrations, and reporting architecture
  • Be an integral part of ongoing training efforts to drive technology adoption

What Makes This Role Unique

  • You'll be embedded with the business, not operating on the sidelines
  • You'll become a trusted partner and go-to resource across teams
  • You'll be expected to bring forward new ideas and challenge the status quo
  • You'll help change how work gets done-not just support existing processes
  • You'll play a meaningful role in a major ERP transformation that will redefine our core systems, data, and operations

What You Bring

  • Ability to operate comfortably across both technical and business environments
  • A strong curiosity and passion for continuous learning-you actively seek out new tools, ideas, and approaches
  • A builder's mindset-you enjoy creating solutions, not just maintaining them
  • 3+ years of experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL Server and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with data modeling, APIs, and integrations (REST/JSON)
  • Familiarity with Azure, Dataverse, and Microsoft Fabric
  • Interest or experience in AI, automation, or intelligent applications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field preferred

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting or participating in an ERP implementation or migration (Microsoft Dynamics or F&SCM strongly preferred)
  • Experience building AI-powered applications or integrations
  • Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, Azure, AI)
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps practices
  • Background in digital transformation, enterprise systems, or systems integration

Salary Range: $95k-$115kย (based on experience).ย Plus bonus.
What You'll Get

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities
  • A flexible hybrid work environment

Bottom Line

We're looking for someone who wants to build, learn, and help lead change.

This role offers the opportunity to shape both day-to-day operations and a major ERP transformation that will define the next phase of our business. If you're energized by solving problems, partnering with teams, and exploring what's possible with data and modern enterprise systems, you'll thrive here.
