Job Title: Senior .NET Developer (Azure & Azure DevOps)

Location: Remote

Rate: 45 on w2

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications.
  • The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with modern .NET frameworks, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core / .NET 6+
  • Build and deploy cloud-based applications leveraging Microsoft Azure services
  • Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and deliver features
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
  • Ensure application performance, security, and reliability
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure services, including:

  • Azure App Services
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Storage (Blob, Table, Queue)
  • Azure SQL / Cosmos DB

  • Experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Releases)
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation
  • Experience in microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus)
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, Web Services, and API security
  • Good understanding of Entity Framework, LINQ, and database design
  • Familiar with Git version control systems

Preferred/Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Angular / React / frontend frameworks
  • Knowledge of Terraform / ARM templates / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Understanding of DevSecOps practices
  • Certification in Microsoft Azure (AZ-204, AZ-400)
