POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Development Director is responsible for driving occupancy growth and lead generation through community outreach, relationship development, and sales execution. This role partners closely with leadership to ensure strong conversion performance from inquiry to move-in.

You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing lead follow-up, and building strong referral pipelines to support sustained census growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary focus is driving referrals through outreach/networking/events/community brand awareness.

Drive occupancy through outreach, tours, follow-up, and relationship-based sales.

Develop and execute a quarterly marketing and outreach plan.

Build and maintain strong referral relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and local professionals.

Conduct community presentations and participate in networking events to generate leads.

Manage lead tracking systems and ensure timely follow-up on all inquiries.

Analyze and improve conversion metrics including inquiry-to-tour and tour-to-move-in.

Coordinate and host events to generate traffic and community awareness.

Conduct competitive market analysis to adjust sales strategies as needed.

Support prospective residents and families through the decision-making and move-in process.

Maintain accurate reporting on census, lead activity, and marketing performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in senior living, healthcare, or consultative sales preferred.

Proven ability to generate leads and close sales in a relationship-driven environment.

Strong networking and community outreach experience.

Experience with CRM or lead tracking systems.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Valid driver’s license required.
