Job description

Bakery Sanitation Crew

Join our daytime Bakery Sanitation Crew and learn the skills necessary to keep our fast-paced, high volume Bakery up to our high standards. In this role, you will perform the following tasks:

  • Disassemble and assemble industrial bakery equipment
  • Complete cleaning and sanitizing of industrial bakery equipment
  • Properly dispense, concentrate and titrate chemicals
  • Operate trash compactors
  • Work on ladders and scissor lifts
  • Complete general cleaning and sanitizing of the bakery area and all other duties as assigned

Work Schedule: Sunday through Saturday rotating days off working 5:00am to 3:00pm (Same two days off during the week and work every other weekend.)

Days off are Mondays & Tuesdays

Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Week 3: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Week 4: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Days off are Thursdays & Fridays

Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Qualifications: Accurate/detail oriented; adhere to sanitation/hygiene standards; willing to learn/perform variety of job tasks; work in a fast paced production environment; work in a noisy environment frequently; work well alone/with others; work with minimal supervision; basic math aptitude; read/follow cleaning labels/instructions; work in a safety conscious environment.

Prior sanitation/janitorial experience is a plus.

Physical qualifications: lift/carry 15 pounds to 72 inches occasionally; push/pull up to 87 pounds of force occasionally; work in temperatures of 70-90+ degrees F; bend/reach/twist constantly; lift/carry 50 pounds to 60 inches frequently; stand/walk up to 10 hours per shift; kneel/squat occasionally.

  • Starting rate of pay: $18.00 per hour
  • Weekend Premium Pay: additional $3.00 an hour between the hours of 7:30pm Friday and 5:00am Monday
