Job description

Multi-Family Roofing Business Development Representative
Salary Range $90k-$110k + Bonuses
Location: Twin Cities, MN (Minneapolis–St. Paul Metro)
The Opportunity
Our client is a growing roofing contractor with a strong presence in the Midwest and is expanding their Multifamily roofing business in the Twin Cities market. They’re looking to add a Business Development Representative who knows how to open doors, build long-term relationships, and generate consistent project opportunities within the multifamily space.
This role is ideal for someone with roofing sales or business development experience who enjoys being out in the market, building trust, and driving revenue.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new business relationships within the multifamily market, including apartment owners, property managers, HOAs, developers, and asset managers.
  • Identify and pursue reroofing, repair, and maintenance opportunities across multifamily properties.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads and opportunities from initial outreach through contract execution.
  • Conduct site visits, assist with scope development, and coordinate with estimating and operations teams.
  • Attend networking events, industry functions, and local association meetings to grow brand presence.
  • Track activity, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM and internal reporting tools.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2–5+ years of experience in roofing sales or business development (multifamily, commercial, or residential).
  • Strong understanding of roofing systems, reroofing cycles, and customer decision-making processes.
  • Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and generate new business.
  • Existing relationships or a transferable book of business is a plus, but not required.
  • Self-starter with strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams.
