What is a development project coordinator?

A Development Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting and overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of development projects within an organization. This role typically involves coordinating tasks among team members, managing schedules and resources, tracking project progress, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Development Project Coordinators often communicate between different departments and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project operations and resolve issues as they arise. They play a crucial role in keeping projects organized, on track, and aligned with the organization's goals.

Familiarity with project management software (such as MS Project or Asana), budgeting tools, and document management systems is often required. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills help you coordinate teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
