Job Description:
This Nurse Manager role is responsible for leading the FSH Interventional Imaging Services to include Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology and EP Lab patients.
Plans, manages, coordinates and evaluates the patient care activities of assigned area including resource management, quality, regulatory compliance, educational opportunities, and financial management. Manages day to day operations of assigned area to ensure support of the mission, goals and objectives of area and Fairview Health Services.
This role is responsible for:
• Coordinate staff development, education and professional growth opportunities
• Responsible for human resources management for assigned area to achieve quality service and positive employee relation
• Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates the quality improvement program for the departments
• Responsible for the communication within assigned areas, include MDs and key stakeholders
• Assumes responsibility for the compliance with internal and external regulations, policies and procedures. Maintain all compliance and safety requirements for radiation safety in the areas.
• Assist with coordination of creation of new services within the area. Project manage change process using sound plans and processes.
• Develops and maintains a healthy, supportive work environment, demonstrating behaviors consistent with service excellence.
• Demonstrates ability to provide care, service and leadership adjusting approaches to recognize diversity and developmental level of population served or lead.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field. If bachelor's is not in nursing then must have a master's degree in nursing
• Minnesota RN license upon hire
• 5 years clinical nursing experience in ICU, interventional cardiology or radiology
• 3-5 year of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced Degree in nursing or related field
