Job description

Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Database Engineer to work in our Warner Robins, GA office.
Everforth ECS is seeking a highly qualified Senior Database Engineer with an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance to work on our project at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
The candidate will be involved with product sustainment, product development, lab support, and engineering services in support of the Operational Flight Program (OFP), Test Program Set (TPS) development and support, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance software and Mission Support (MS) business lines. Candidate will assist in evaluating current systems, planning of large-scale system projects, purchasing, installing and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with database design and administration.
  • Experience with data analysis, database design, development activities, database conversions/migrations, and instantiation of databases.
  • Experience in managing compliance to database administration procedures, standards, and guidelines. Knowledge of centralized data repositories. Proficient in SQL, PostGres, MongoDB, or similar database languages.
  • Experience with data diodes and data replications across classifications or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience with database architecture and implementations of databases leveraging cloud technologies, including AWS or MS Azure.
  • Individual(s) will be expected to perform with minimal to no assistance from junior level organic staff.
