Job description

Join the Community & Business Development Finance & Business Management team, where you will help drive national performance insights, budget and headcount planning, executive reporting, and business management routines. You will partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable insights that support strategic priorities and business outcomes. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-impact agenda focused on disciplined execution, transparency, and measurable results.

As a Finance & Business Manager in Community & Business Development, you will support the team's national performance management, budget and headcount planning, and executive reporting agenda. You will help develop and maintain reporting routines, analyze financial and operational drivers, support headcount and expense tracking, and prepare business updates for senior leadership. You will partner across Finance & Business Management, Strategy, Operations, and business leadership teams to support planning, performance measurement, and decision-making. Your work will help provide visibility into business performance, resource decisions, and progress against strategic priorities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic partner, finance subject matter expert, and trusted advisor supporting Community & Business Development and Financial Health initiatives
  • Drive strategic field initiatives and support execution against business priorities
  • Optimize performance against goals through performance monitoring, analysis, and synthesis of business information and results
  • Support business reviews by planning, coordinating, and reporting on key performance indicators and business objectives within assigned territories
  • Manage key Community & Business Development scorecard metrics focused on growth, controls, customer acquisition and deepening, customer and employee experience, and expense management
  • Support development of local market strategies, including coverage, workforce, real estate, marketing, and banker planning
  • Coordinate with business and functional partners, including Product, Marketing, Risk, Legal, and Human Resources teams
  • Contribute to divisional and national initiatives, including ownership and execution of specific projects
  • Develop reports, presentations, and executive updates that communicate performance trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Support budget, expense, and headcount planning activities and provide analysis to support resource decisions
  • Perform ad hoc analysis related to business strategy, financial management, and operational effectiveness
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
  • 6 years of experience in banking or financial services
  • Knowledge of branch banking operations and retail banking financial systems
  • Experience analyzing balance sheet, income statement, and related business performance drivers
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations to groups and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and influence stakeholders across organizational levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, judgment, and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across functions
  • Ability to travel as required
