We’re hiring! Managing Principal – Texas

Launch - Development Finance Advisors is growing and is looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial real estate finance professional to lead our Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin offices. Each Managing Principal is responsible for growing the area office’s operations by providing the firm’s clients with solid, realistic, fact-based special district (e.g., Public Improvement Districts, Municipal Utility Districts, Tax Increment Reinvestment Zones, etc., collectively “Financing Vehicles”) financing recommendations related to their development projects.

As a successful leader of the area office, you as the Managing Principal will partner with regional and national Launch professionals as well as our parent company, Land Advisors Organization, brokers, construction managers, and capital providers to create, build and operate a seamless workplace community to provide end-to-end development and disposition strategies for our private sector clients.

Locations: Dallas/Fort Worth Area and Austin, TX

What You Will Get to Do

As the Managing Principal you will be responsible to:

· Assist our clients to overcome their development and financing challenges, seize development opportunities and maximize their operational strengths to achieve their desired operational results.

· Oversee the operations of the area office’s consulting engagements.

· Ensure that all consulting engagements are performed to Launch high-quality control standards and in accordance with Texas Code.

· Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective developer / builder clients.

· Coach and mentor direct reports and strengthen leadership skills and assist in career development.

· Develop and evolve local financing standards, processes, and procedures as business need change.

· Collaborate with Launch and Land Advisor leadership on industry transformation by leveraging innovation and capabilities to drive productivity and improve operational performance.

Your Experience Should Include

· Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration, Real Estate.

· 7+ years in public finance, residential, and/or master planned community development industry.

· Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and growing business operations.

· High level of competency in communications with public agencies, clients, and the Launch / Land Advisors senior management team.

· A resident of the area in which the Launch office is located (e.g., Metroplex and Austin Metro Area).

· Ability to manage multiple consulting teams and consulting engagements in a timely and efficient manner.

· Direct experience with:

o The establishment of Texas Financing Vehicles.

o Preparation of Service and Assessment Plans and other applicable Financing Vehicle documentation.

o Preparation of bond analysis.

o Preparation of Fiscal Impact Analysis.

o Development Cash Flow Modeling.
