Position Overview
BHS is seeking a dynamic Co‑Medical Director of Hospital Medicine to help lead a high‑performing inpatient program. In a shared leadership model, the Co‑Medical Directors guide clinical operations, provider engagement, patient experience, and systemwide throughput initiatives. This role is ideal for a physician leader who thrives at the intersection of clinical excellence, operational improvement, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Operations & Workflow
  • Standardize and optimize inpatient workflows
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve efficiency and care quality
  • Remove operational barriers impacting performance

Provider Leadership
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship
  • Foster engagement, well‑being, and retention

Patient Experience
