About This Role

Bridgewater Learning Center is actively looking for a Lead Teacher for its 2 1/2yo room. If you are excited to begin or build upon your career in Early Childhood Education, we can't wait to hear from you. We serve children ages 6 weeks to 5 years in a fun, safe, educational and nurturing atmosphere and pride ourselves on building strong relationships with the community and families we serve.


What You'll Do

The Lead Teacher needs to be able to

  • lesson plan
  • maintain a clean and functional classroom
  • do assessments on the children in your room
  • family conferences
  • participate in family engagement activities
  • attend staff meetings
  • maintain children's classroom portfolios
  • stay in communication with parents on how and what their children are doing while in our care.

Requirements
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) with at least one year experience in Early Childhood Education
  • Must be willing to get and/or maintain CPR, 1st aid, communicable disease and child abuse certification. company will pay for these trainings
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be reliable
  • Must be flexible
  • Must be active in the Christian faith
