To support these initiatives, HP is seeking an ambitious, financially skilled and team-oriented professional to join the Corporate Development team. This individual will support inorganic transactions across HP's Global Business Units acting as a trusted advisor, working closely with senior leaders to establish and drive M&A strategy, priorities, and deal execution.
Job Description
The Corporate Development Associate is a key contributor to the evaluation and execution of acquisitions and divestitures. This high-impact role involves collaboration with senior leaders to drive M&A strategy and deal execution.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain valuation and financial models.
  • Prepare clear, data-driven presentations for executive decision-making. Support cross-functional due diligence teams, including coordinating question list preparation, and partnering with the business unit on forecast financial modeling.
  • Develop and maintain strong industry and competitive knowledge.
  • Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to support business strategy.
  • Identify, screen and value M&A and investment opportunities
  • Actively participate in enhancing Corporate Development practices and processes.
  • Education and Experience Required: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Transaction Services, Private Equity, or related fields, ideally within the technology sector. Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.

Knowledge And Skills
  • Advanced financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills; strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical judgment with the ability to tackle complex projects independently and identify root issues.
  • Ability to understand abstract ideas and logically address project objectives with limited direction. Able to determine the facts of the case and reveal root issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey important messages in a clear & compelling manner.
  • Fast learner able to adapt to new teams and work well under pressure.
  • High capacity for work; able to maintain performance over long stretches of time. Resilient.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to streamline and redesign deal workflows for measurable impact, such as efficiency gains, higher-quality output, or improved deal velocity.
