DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE 

About the Employer

 

Meta Development Partners, LLC (“Meta”) is a full-service real estate development firm that develops high-quality, affordable multifamily and mixed-use residential communities throughoutCalifornia. 

 

Position Summary

 

Development Associates are staffed on multiple projects and assist in a broad range of real estate development and related activities, including but not limited to: preparation and completion of financing applications and proposals; obtainment of entitlements for proposed projects; coordination of architectural designs; preparation and oversight of project budgets and schedules; oversight of the construction process; and management of initial lease-up and move-in of completed projects. 

 

Requirements and Qualifications

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.

● Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.

● Must be a self-starter and able to take initiative. 

● Ability to initiate and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with colleagues, consultants, and development team members.

● Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an organized, efficient, and timely manner and successfully meet project deadlines.

● Proficiency with the MS Office suite.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree required. One or more years relevant experience in urban planning, housing development, real estate development, business, finance or a related field preferred.

 

Salary range is $80-95k/year + bonus and benefits, depending on experience.
