Job Title: Talent Development Manager
Location: ADS Headquarters (Virginia Beach, VA)

Position Overview

The Talent Development Manager leads the execution of learning and development initiatives that enhance employee capability, accelerate performance, and strengthen long-term career growth across ADS. This role is responsible for overseeing New Hire Orientation programs, leading internal sales development initiatives, and managing early-sales career development programs to build strong talent pipelines and support employee growth.

Partnering closely with business leaders, the Talent Development Manager identifies development needs, designs scalable learning solutions, and ensures employees have the tools, training, and resources needed to succeed in their roles. The ideal candidate brings a strong program management discipline, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to translate organizational goals into engaging and effective learning experiences that support employee development and business success.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Development & Strategic Readiness Programs

Oversee the structure, coordination, and continuous improvement of major sales readiness and earlycareer development programs, including:
• Sales Development Associate (SDA) Program
• Strategic Sales Readiness (SSR) Program
• Outside Sales Development Group (OSDG) Program

Responsibilities include:
• Program structure and annual calendar management
• Training coordination and logistics
• Performance milestone tracking and progress visibility
• Stakeholder alignment with sales leadership
• Reporting, insights, and ongoing program refinement

2. Learning Program Strategy & Development

• Assess organizational capability needs and identify skill gaps
• Execute development programs that support employee growth, job readiness, and internal mobility
• Build learning roadmaps for sales roles

• Maintain a continuous improvement cycle using feedback, data, and performance indicators

3. Orientation Experience Ownership

• Own and manage the company’s New Hire Orientation (NHO) program from planning through facilitation and continuous enhancement
• Develop orientation resources, guides, and development plans to ensure new hires receive a structured orientation experience
• Ensure all new instructor-led and e-learning training courses are assigned, tracked, and completed within established onboarding timelines

4. Performance & Career Development Support

• Support implementation of tools that strengthen goalsetting, coaching, and feedback processes
• Consult with managers on team development strategies
• Facilitate career development pathways and internal mobility resources

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced education a plus
• 5+ years of experience in learning / organizational development, or related fields
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role

• Experience supporting salesdriven or fastpaced organizations preferred
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder partnership abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs

• Experience designing curriculum related to employee development
• Datadriven approach to program evaluation and continuous improvement

Salary Range: $105,000 to $125,000 

The salary range represents the base compensation range for this role.  The actual compensation will be determined based on a candidate’s education, experience, and skills.
