Job Summary:
Rosenbauer America is the world’s largest manufacturer of fire equipment, dedicated to providing top-of-the-line fire apparatus. The Business Analyst will support the Sales team and dealer partners by creating performance scorecards, developing reporting tools, and standardizing metrics across the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver actionable data and business intelligence to support Sales leadership and RSMs.
• Develop and maintain dealer performance scorecards, benchmarking tools, and KPI dashboards.
• Provide insights and recommendations that enhance forecasting accuracy and territory strategy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to data-mine, validate, and standardize business metrics.
• Establish consistent KPI definitions and reporting standards across all departments.
• Improve data quality, flows, and system integrations with IT and operational teams.
• Build reporting processes, dashboards, and analytical frameworks from scratch.
• Develop self-service views, Power BI dashboards, and executive scorecards.
• Identify gaps in data, reporting, and systems and recommend practical solutions.
• Support sales planning and forecasting through detailed analytics and scenario modeling.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across dealer performance and market conditions.
• Assist in organizational goal-setting and resource planning with data-driven insights.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or sales operations required.
• Experience in manufacturing, dealer networks, or field sales required.
• Previous experience using reporting packages (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) databases (SQL based ERP System-Sage 500), advanced Excel and programming required.
• Able to find, read, and interpret relevant business periodical, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Able to write reports and business correspondence in a professional manner.
• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions and communicate new information that could affect project trajectories.
• Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Proficiency with Power BI; advanced Excel skills.
• Able to perform intermediate PC functions and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to deal with problems involving a variety of variables in non-standard situations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work professionally with customers/dealerships and internal customers to accomplish common goals.
• Able to prioritize work and multitask while adhering to deadlines.
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
