AI and Solutions Development Analyst
Role Summary
The AI and Solutions Development Analyst supports the company's growth by combining customer-facing supply chain consulting with internal analytics and AI-driven capabilities. This role works directly with customers to assess their supply chain operations, diagnose inefficiencies, and develop tailored logistics solutions-while also building the internal tools, dashboards, and automation delivery smarter and more competitive.
The Analyst partners closely with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and IT to design solutions, support business development efforts, and drive continuous improvement across platforms. This is a dual-impact role: externally, it positions the company as a consultative logistics partner; internally, it accelerates AI and analytics transformation.
Key Results Area
  • Customer Solution Development & Consulting
    • Conduct on-site and virtual supply chain assessments for prospective and existing customers, including facility visits, stakeholder interviews, and freight flow analysts
    • Evaluate customer supply chain networks and recommend improvements to optimize cost, service levels, and operational efficiency
    • Design tailored logistics solutions leveraging the company's full-service portfolio: truckload, LTL, warehousing, parcel, international, and managed logistics
    • Build financial models, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI frameworks to support customer business cases
    • Develop customer-facing proposals, executive presentations, and solution documentation that communicate recommendations clearly
    • Support enterprise sales opportunities by providing solution design expertise and operational feasibility analysis
  • Sales Enablement & Account Support
    • Partner with Sales and Business Development teams on RFPs, pricing strategies, and complex customer opportunities
    • Provide consultative supply chain expertise during customer discovery calls, business reviews, and solution presentation
    • Lead or support RFP/bid responses, including coordination of solution design, pricing, and supporting documentation
    • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing customer accounts
    • Develop case studies and best practice documentation to support the broader sales team
  • Analytics, Dashboards, and Reporting
    • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide customers and internal teams with real time visibility into supply chain performance and KPIs
    • Analyze freight, routing, service levels, and cost data to surface actionable optimization opportunities for customers and operations
    • Develop predictive models to improve demand planning, capacity forecasting, and cost management
    • Track and report on post-implementation results to demonstrate measurable value delivered to customers
  • AI Tools & Internal Automation
    • Identify manual workflows - both customer-facing and internal - that can be automated and build or prototype solutions
    • Design and deploy AI-powered tools and intelligent agents that support sales, operations, and customer analytics teams
    • Integrate AI capabilities with existing platforms including HubSpot, Revenova TMS, Extensive WMS, and Power BI
    • Collaborate with the internal AI Innovation Analyst and the IT team to scale solutions that work across the organization
  • Systems, Data Pipelines, and Continuous Improvement
    • Build data pipelines that connect internal systems and eliminate manual data-wrangling processes
    • Enhance integration between Salesforce/HubSpot, TMS, WMS, and BI platforms to improve data quality and accessibility
    • Stay current on supply chain technology trends, AI developments, and logistics innovations to inform clients on service offerings
    • Identify opportunities to improve internal systems and processes and lead these improvement initiatives

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain consulting, logistics analytics, or 3PL operations
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct customer-facing assessments and deliver formal recommendations
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis
  • Experience building dashboards or reports in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with AI development, automation tools, or machine learning applications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to senior-level stakeholders
  • Prior background in freight brokerage, 3PL, or managed logistics environments preferred
