Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, creative and data savvy marketing intern to join our team this summer. As the PR & Social Media coordinator, your focus will be on helping us to devise and implement our PR & Social Media strategy.

Key responsibilities

Manage Social Media marketing campaigns including:

  • Daily maintenance of social media pages and content, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube
  • Monitor, listen and engage with users
  • Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts
  • Identify/ curate relevant content opportunities
  • Compile report for management showing results (ROI)

Support PR development efforts including:

  • Create and maintain media lists
  • Identify opportunities / pitch media

This is an ideal position for a highly motivated individual with some experience and a passion for PR, content strategy, blogging, and community participation. A self-starter who is willing to learn, enjoys technology, and is enthusiastic about working in a fast paced, start-up environment.

Qualifications
  • Pursuing degree in Public Relations, Marketing Communications, Journalism or other Business related field
  • An active participant in social media
  • Strong creative and writing skills
  • Must be proactive, and have the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment,
  • Detailed-oriented, organized and able to work under tight deadline
