Dr. Delphinium is seeking a hands-on, organized, and solutions-driven Operations Support Manager to oversee the daily operational support functions of the company. Guided by our values of Connection, Celebration, Ownership, Drive, Integrity, and Creativity, this role is essential in ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, product flow, and operational excellence across multiple departments and locations.

The Operations Support Manager works closely alongside staff while leading Warehouse Operations, Processing, Design Support, Transfer Drivers, Janitorial, and Green Tech (Interior Landscaping) teams. This role plays a critical part in supporting production, fulfillment, installations, and logistics operations while maintaining strong communication and collaboration across departments.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of operational success, and builds positive relationships with both internal teams and external partners. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate people, schedules, inventory flow, and logistics with a calm and solutions-oriented approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee Warehouse Operations, including Design Support, Processing, Janitorial, Transfer Drivers, and Green Tech (Interior Landscaping).
  • Create and coordinate schedules for each department, including publishing shifts and managing requests through Paylocity. 
  • Ensure that employee engagement programming is implemented, including but not limited to the celebration of birthdays and anniversaries within the Logistics Department. 
  • Conduct team meetings and work with all teams to ensure that safety training is provided on a proactive basis. 
  • Ensure compliance of Department of Transportation and safety standards
  • Work proactively with Client Relations Manager, Event Production Manager and Operations Manager to understand the needs of the external and internal customers 
  • Approve and continuously monitor Event Sales tracking documents to support the needs of Corporate Sales, Event Sales and Event Design. 
  • Coordinate and manage the transfer of flowers, arrangements, and hard goods between the 3 locations.
  • Coordinate schedules and logistics for installations across all teams in support of Corporate Sales, Event Sales and Event Design. Use a bird's eye view to ensure that proper vehicle allocation and staffing needs are met. 
  • Schedule and coordinate dumpster scheduling and maintenance with third party vendors
  • Oversee special project coordination amongst the Logistics Department  
  • Ensure smooth receiving logistics are in place within the warehouse to support all teams 
  • Conduct quarterly/annual performance reviews for direct reports and ensure reviews are conducted for all Logistics Department team members. 
  • Work with the HR to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained. Assist in the interviewing and onboarding of new hires within the department (Processing, Design Support, Warehouse). 
  • Work with HR and Operations Manager to ensure that proper holiday staffing levels are set and achieved.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience managing a warehouse operation of 5 or more employees
  • Demonstrate strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Possess very strong organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Have a highly developed sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated results in improving delivery performance through leadership
  • Guest service mentality; is sociable and friendly and has a genuine desire to serve the customer. 
  • Self starter who is energetic and flexible.
  • Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations
  • Forms strong working relationships within a team.
  • Excellent driving record that complies with insurance carrier requirements.
