Job description

The Engineering Intern will play a key role in supporting the New Product Development team by assisting with product design, testing, and validation activities. This position contributes directly to the development and improvement of innovative heating and thermal processing solutions by gathering critical test data, creating engineering models, and helping transform concepts into manufacturable products.

Key Impact Areas:

  • Support new product development initiatives through hands-on assembly, testing, and evaluation of prototypes and components.
  • Collect, analyze, and present engineering test data using Excel and graphical reporting tools to assist engineering decision-making.
  • Create and modify 3D component models and drawings in SolidWorks to support product development and design improvements.
  • Assist engineers with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and identifying opportunities for product and process enhancements.
  • Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of laboratory testing activities involving electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Apply creative thinking and technical knowledge to help solve engineering challenges and improve product performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members while also demonstrating the ability to work independently and manage assigned projects.
