Job description

Job Title: Business Development – Austin - HOA Associations & New Community Development
Location: Austin, Texas and Surrounding Areas

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development to expand our presence throughout Austin and surrounding areas. This individual will focus on building relationships with Homeowners Associations (HOAs), developers, builders, and new community developments to drive company growth and secure new management opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong networking abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience developing strategic partnerships within the HOA, property management, or community development industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with HOA associations, developers, builders, and emerging residential communities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with developers, board members, community stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase market presence and generate new business.
  • Attend networking events, industry conferences, community meetings, and association functions.
  • Conduct presentations and proposals for prospective clients and community boards.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of prospective opportunities and provide regular updates on business development activities.
  • Research market trends and identify opportunities within Austin and surrounding markets.
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to ensure a smooth transition of new accounts.
  • Meet and exceed sales and growth goals.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company positively within the community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of business development, sales, HOA management, property management, or related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HOA associations, community management, real estate, or residential development is preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and establish trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel frequently throughout Austin and surrounding areas.
  • Ability to attend evening meetings and networking events as needed.
