    Expected salary range of $183,600 to $204,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

    Primary Purpose of Position

    Provide management of the engineering function of accountability and act as backup to the Site Engineering Director.


    Primary Duties and Accountabilities

    • Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements
    • Manage the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives and provide focus on the attainment of high-quality engineering results
    • Participates as key manager in Business Planning, Budget, and Business Performance review regarding Site Engineering. Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff (e.g., Employment, Development, Compensation, Performance Evaluation, etc.). Ensures consistent and effective work force practices through assigned supervisors/functions.
    • Directly and through subordinates, fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site operations.
    • Participate as senior resource to Nuclear-wide programs and initiatives regarding standardized and enhanced engineering systems and processes.
    • All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.).

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) or related science OR Active/Inactive Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license
    • 10 years of overall experience, which includes 4 years power plant, 1 year of nuclear power plant experience and 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience
    • Active SRO license, inactive SRO license, SRO certification or plant operational knowledge consistent with the requirements of the engineering manager's job
    • Must meet additional requirements as outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 (4.3.8) Standard, "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants"
    • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
