Position Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Advisor to lead our engineering efforts in the design and development of advanced cooling and thermal management solutions for data centers. This critical role will mentor a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, and design engineers, ensuring the successful execution of product development initiatives that meet the demanding requirements of hyperscale and colocation data centers.
The Engineering Advisor will collaborate closely with global product development teams to align engineering standards, drive innovation, and ensure reliability across our portfolio. This position requires a strategic leader with deep expertise and experience with large refrigerant circuits commonly used for Data Center air cooled and water-cooled chiller applications, combined with the ability to influence technology roadmaps and mentor engineering talent.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive technical vision for data center infrastructure solutions, aligning with emerging trends.
  • Lead advanced R\&D initiatives and generate intellectual property in critical areas.
  • Act as the company's prime technical spokesperson with hyperscale operators, enterprise clients, and industry forums.
  • Proactively mentor engineering teams, fostering expertise in mission-critical systems and reliability engineering.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and contribute to global standards for data center technologies.
  • Partner with clients to understand evolving requirements and deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet uptime and efficiency goals.
  • Provide technical guidance across engineering, operations, and product management to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Required Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • 20+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 10 years in data center cooling.
  • Recognized industry expert with contributions to major projects, publications, or standards in the data center field.
  • Proven leadership in complex engineering programs and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies: liquid cooling, energy efficiency, sustainability, and AI-driven optimization.
