What You'll Do
  • Review and assign project manager and/or detailer to project with the sufficient skill set
  • Assign all rebar detailing work efficiently and in accordance with customers' delivery needs
  • Oversee the productivity and work quality of the detailers to ensure efficiency, accuracy and quality
  • Produce reports as requested by management
  • Review and approve all invoices
  • Attend preconstruction meetings and project conference calls when necessary
  • Department UKG time system management and department employee performance reviews
  • Create SAP Purchase Requests for outside detailing costs and outside placer costs
  • Manage the hiring and training of new detailers
  • Project detailing cost projections and forecasting

What You'll Need
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a rebar detailer or equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor required; to include experience in customer relations and resolving problems and/or disputes
  • Effective skills in communication, motivation, performance evaluation and customer service
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, with occasional overnight travel required
  • Basic knowledge of standard business practices and human relations

Your Education
  • Two year technical degree from an accredited school or college preferred
  • Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting issued from an accredited school or college, or equivalent work experience preferred
