Detail Technician

Reports to: Service Manager

The Detail Technician is an important member of the service team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles throughout the dealership. This role supports both the Sales and Service departments by preparing vehicles to the high standards associated with the Lexus brand.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is interested in building a career within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

· Detail and clean new, pre-owned, and guest vehicles to dealership standards

· Wash, vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors and exteriors

· Clean windows, wheels, tires, and door jambs

· Assist with vehicle presentation and lot organization

· Maintain cleanliness and organization within the detailing and service areas

· Support timely vehicle delivery by prioritizing assigned work efficiently

· Work closely with Service, Sales, and other departments to coordinate vehicle readiness

· Identify and report any cosmetic or safety concerns to the Service Manager

· Ensure vehicle keys are handled and stored securely at all times

· Operate tools and equipment safely and report any safety concerns immediately

· Support team members and contribute to a positive team environment

· Assist with additional duties as required

What You Bring:

· Previous automotive detailing or vehicle cleaning experience is considered an asset but not necessary. Training will be provided.

· Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

· Valid driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract
