Overview

The Alexander is seeking an inspiring and strategic General Manager to lead one of Indianapolis' most distinctive lifestyle hotels. As General Manager, you will provide visionary leadership across all areas of the hotel, fostering a culture of service excellence while positioning The Alexander as the premier destination for guests, associates, and the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for all hotel operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Engineering.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through thoughtful business planning, financial stewardship, and market awareness.
  • Champion an exceptional guest experience while cultivating an engaging, service-focused culture for associates.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a talented leadership team, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
  • Maintain the highest standards of operational excellence, quality, and brand integrity.
  • Build strong relationships with ownership, Davidson Hospitality Group leadership, community partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance market position, guest satisfaction, and operational performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of General Manager experience leading a full-service or lifestyle hotel.
  • Proven success driving financial performance, revenue growth, and operational excellence.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
