We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead quality operations, support continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold the integrity of our production processes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily quality operations related to avionics integration kit manufacturing. This role ensures compliance with FAA regulations, internal procedures, and customer requirements while supervising Quality Specialists and Limited Inspectors. You will:
    • Supervise daily activities of Quality Specialists and Limited Inspectors in the production environment.
    • Assign and adjust workloads according to production schedules and shipping priorities.
    • Train and mentor new team members on quality procedures, safety standards, and inspection methods.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching to support employee development.
    • Maintain systems to verify compliance to quality processes including In-Process Inspections, Final Inspections, First Article Inspections, Source Inspections, conformity inspections, Cirrus testing, VSWR and dB loss testing.
    • Oversee RMA/MRB processing, customer communication, and documentation.
    • Support Supplier Qualifications, Corrective/Preventative Action (CAPA), internal audits, and customer or regulatory audits.
    • Partner with Quality team leadership to resolve production quality issues and implement corrective/preventative actions.
    • Develop and organize testing plans for all production programs.
    • Support surveillance inspections, final inspections, and source inspections as needed.
    • Oversee re-qualification of equipment, monthly calibrations, and documentation maintenance.
    • Ensure all work adheres to FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, L2 Quality Manual, and approved procedures.
    • Participate in production meetings and provide quality-related scheduling and status updates.
    • Maintain strong relationships across production, engineering, supply chain, and customer teams.
    • Escalate quality issues to management in a timely and accurate manner.



WHAT YOU BRING:

    • High School Diploma required; additional technical training preferred.
    • 4+ years Avionics/Electrical or Aviation Mechanic background and Inspection experience a plus.
    • 2+ years leadership experience preferred added.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory and quality requirements (e.g., Boeing Standard Wiring Practices, IPC-620).
    • Ability to work overtime as needed.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally across departments and with customers.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Flexible and adaptable to changing project scopes and priorities.
    • Ability to work occasional overtime as needed.
    • Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug testing and any applicable company/FAA Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program that may be required.
    • Must be able to pass required background checks, including a 10-year TSA check if airport access or badging is required.
