Job description

IT Support Analyst – Contractor Location: Onsite – Southeastern Minnesota (5 days/week) Position Overview A large, well-established organization is seeking a hands-on IT Support Analyst – Contractor to support a high-impact PC Domain Migration project across multiple local facilities. This is a high-volume, employee-facing contract role requiring strong technical expertise with Microsoft Intune and Jamf, along with excellent interpersonal skills. The contractor will work directly with end users across several sites to migrate, re-image, and enroll approximately 400 devices into managed environments.

This is a labor-intensive, desk-side role with multiple device migrations expected per day. The contract is expected to run through late September 2026, at which point the migration will be complete. Key Responsibilities Configure and deploy new Windows laptops and desktops, enrolling them into Microsoft Intune as part of a domain migration Wipe, re-image, and re-enroll existing Windows devices with proper configurations and compliance policies Enroll and manage Mac devices using Jamf, including reconfiguration of existing hardware Provide onsite, desk-side support to end users during device deployment and setup Assist users with reconnecting applications, shared drives, and printers post-migration Troubleshoot and resolve day-of migration issues to minimize downtime Complete multiple device migrations daily while maintaining quality and accuracy Travel between multiple local facilities as required by the deployment schedule Track asset status and migration progress using a ticketing/asset management system Coordinate with internal IT leadership and project stakeholders on priorities and execution Qualifications Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager), including device enrollment and policy management Experience with Jamf (or similar MDM) for Apple device management Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 imaging, deployment, and configuration Familiarity with macOS in an enterprise environment Experience with Azure AD (Entra ID) for user/device management Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical end users Self-starter with strong time management across multiple locations Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel Ability to lift and transport equipment (up to ~40 lbs) Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or Apple) are a plus Prior experience with large-scale device refresh or migration projects preferred Vaco by Highspring values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
