Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced and proactive Shipping Operations Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing shipping and loading processes, managing a team, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of our products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate shipment schedules with manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams to support delivery commitments.
  • Monitor workflow and staffing levels to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to prioritize shipments and align logistics activities with production schedules.
  • Work with carriers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely product movement.
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, transportation issues, and customer delivery concerns.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
  • Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  • Support inventory accuracy and material flow initiatives as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional logistics, transportation, or supply chain education is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, manufacturing, or distribution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive operational performance.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of freight coordination, shipment scheduling, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience collaborating across departments to achieve operational goals.
