As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced CAD Manager to lead and elevate CAD/BIM standards, workflows, and support across the organization.
This is a unique opportunity for a highly technical and collaborative professional to shape firmwide CAD operations, influence design technology strategy, and support project teams across multiple disciplines and offices. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, implement, and administer firmwide AutoCAD scripts, workflows, standards, and processes
  • Coordinate testing and deployment of CAD tools and scripts alongside software upgrades and IT initiatives
  • Lead and facilitate firmwide CAD coordination meetings and collaboration efforts
  • Provide ongoing AutoCAD and Civil 3D training and technical support to staff across the organization
  • Partner with subject matter experts to improve workflows for additional platforms including Revit, MicroStation, OpenRoads, BIM, and GIS
  • Troubleshoot advanced CAD/BIM production issues and coordinate solutions with IT and software partners
  • Maintain and improve documentation for standards, procedures, and workflows while ensuring consistency across teams
  • Support project teams with setup, file organization, and production best practices
  • Help drive continuous improvement initiatives related to design technology, production efficiency, and quality standards

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Architecture, Construction Technology, or a related field preferred
  • 10+ years of CAD/BIM design or management experience within an engineering, architecture, or consulting environment
  • 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred
  • Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Experience developing CAD standards, templates, scripts, and workflows
  • Working knowledge of BIM platforms, MicroStation, OpenRoads, Revit, and GIS tools is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple offices and disciplines
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the week to various Fuss & O'Neill offices
