Overview

Gere la communication et la coordination entre le cabinet de conception et l'equipe interne de recherche ou de construction pour garantir la conception de construction la plus optimisee, la plus efficace et la plus rentable.

Manages communication and coordination between the design firm and internal pursuit or construction team to ensure the most optimized, efficient and cost effective construction design.

What you will be doing

Responsabilites 

  • Preparer les propositions techniques en s'assurant qu'elles sont emises conformement aux normes de conception et de qualite spsecifiees
  • Participer aux responsabilites fonctionnelles et de gestion ; contribuer a la responsabilisation dans le cadre de l'execution du projet, y compris le respect du contrat, du calendrier et du budget
  • Suivre les soumissions de documents, documenter et signaler les progres, et alerter le membre de l'equipe des risques lies aux retards potentiels
  • Soutenir le processus d'approvisionnement et de sous-traitance du projet
  • Assurer la conformite des processus du plan de gestion des modifications de conception, des demandes d'information et des instructions de chantier
  • Preparer des rapports d'avancement reguliers 

Responsibilities 

  • Prepare technical submittal ensuring that they are issued in accordance with the specified design and quality standards
  • Assist with the functional and managerial responsibilities and accountability for the execution of the project including contract compliance, within schedule and budget. 
  • Track document submittals, documenting and reporting progress and alerting the team member of risks related to potential delays
  • Support the project procurement and sub-contracting process
  • Ensure compliance of the Design Change Management Plan, RFI and Site Instructions processes
  • Prepare regular progress reports 
What we are looking for

Qualifications 

  • Etre titulaire d'un baccalaureat en genie civil ou dans une discipline pertinente
  • Avoir un minimum de 1 annees d'experience en conception coordination 
  • Une preference est accordee a une personne ayant une experience de travail sur des projets de construction de ponts
  • Maitriser la suite MS Office 
  • La maitrise de l'anglais et du francais est exigee
  • Avoir d'excellentes competences de communication orale et ecrite 
  • Avoir une solide ethique de travail en equipe et des competences decisionnelles averees
  • Avoir un esprit creatif
  • Avoir la capacite a travailler dans un environnement en evolution rapide 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in design coordination 
  • Experience working in bridge construction projects is preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite 
  • Fluency in both, English and French is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrated strong team work ethics and decision-making skills
  • Ability to think "outside the box"
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
