Full Time Dental Assistant Schedule

Mondayย & Tuesday:ย 7:45 AMย - 5:00 PM

Wednesday:ย 6:45 AMย - 3:00 PM

Thursday:ย 7:45 AMย - 3:00 PM

Every other Friday:ย 7:45 AMย -ย 3:00 PM

Breaks:

1-hourย lunch onย Monday and Tuesday

30-minute break onย Thursday and everyย other Friday

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Dentists chairside
  • Welcomes patients
  • Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
  • Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
  • Instrument sterilization according to regulations
  • Maintains accurate patient records
  • Lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide post-operative care instructions
  • Maintain clean and stocked operatories
Qualifications
  • Active South Carolina dental assistant licenseย 
  • Dental Assistant training/school certificationย 
  • 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Experience with digital software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
