What You'll Do
  • Lead Creative Vision: Own design direction across sleepwear, loungewear, intimates, men's, and kids, from concept through delivery.
  • Trend Forecasting: Translate fashion, lifestyle, and cultural insights into compelling, consumer-relevant products. Anticipate what's next while protecting our brand identity.
  • Assortment Strategy: Build seasonal line strategies that balance innovation with commercial needs (sales data, AUR, SKU productivity, channel requirements).
  • Innovation & Technology: Champion sustainable materials and embrace AI-driven design tools, digital prototyping, and 3D visualization to streamline and inspire creative development.
  • Product Excellence: Lead fabric and trim selection with a focus on softness, sustainability, and elevated quality. Oversee fit sessions to ensure garments meet both creative and technical standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical design, sourcing, production, and merchandising to deliver on calendar milestones, financial goals, and product excellence.
  • Team Development: Mentor, inspire, and grow the design team (Senior Designer, Design Assistant). Set high creative standards while fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive design experience, including 3+ years in senior leadership (Design Director level) at a premium or lifestyle apparel brand.
  • Proven ability to balance brand identity and innovation; experience in scaling or launching categories a strong plus.
  • Elevated aesthetic with a strong POV on fabric, print, color, and silhouette.
  • Technical expertise in garment design, CAD, PLM, and product development.
  • Strong organizational and calendar management skills with proven ability to deliver against deadlines.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial leader with cross-functional influence.
  • Curious, future-focused, and innovative-especially about AI, sustainability, and new design technologies.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Miami.
