Job description

Kennedy Jenks is seeking aย Collaborative Delivery Project Manager to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects delivered through both traditional and alternative delivery methods. This role is well-suited for a project manager who enjoys working in highly collaborative environments and partnering closely with clients, designers, and construction teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects.ย 

The Collaborative Delivery Project Manager will support projects delivered through Design-Build and other alternative delivery models, as well as traditional delivery approaches. This position emphasizes teamwork, coordination, and shared ownership of project outcomes whileย maintainingย a strong focus on quality, schedule, and budget.ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Project Delivery & Coordination
    • Manage or support water and wastewater infrastructure projects delivered through collaborative delivery models, including Design-Build and other alternative delivery approaches, as well as traditional Design-Bid-Build.
    • Participate in integrated project teams, coordinating closely with owners, designers, construction partners, and subconsultants.
    • Support project planning, scope development, scheduling, and cost management across all phases of project delivery.
    • Assistย withย identifyingย and managing project risks, opportunities, and constraints in fast-paced, team-oriented delivery environments.
  • Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Serve as a key point of contact for clients and delivery partners, supporting transparent communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Participate in client meetings, design workshops, and coordination sessions typical of collaborative delivery projects.
    • Support proposal development and interviews for collaborative delivery pursuits, including Design-Build projects.
  • Technical & Team Leadership
    • Coordinate with technical leads and discipline engineers to ensure design intent, constructability, and project objectivesย are aligned.
    • Support the development and review of technical deliverables, including reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
    • Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a positive, solutions-oriented project culture.ย 

Qualificationsย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline
  • Experience supporting or managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with collaborative delivery, alternative delivery, or Design-Build project environments
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license ย 
  • DBIA certification is preferred
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in team-based, highly collaborative project environmentsย

Salary rangeย for this position is expected to be between $130,000 and $200,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, and geographic location.ย 

This position is eligible for performance and incentive compensation.ย ย
