Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple commercial construction projects in the Indianapolis IN market. This role is responsible for full project lifecycle management, from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This is a leadership role ideal for a design/build PM who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning both field and office execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial construction projects simultaneously
  • Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and financial performance
  • Direct and support project superintendents and field teams
  • Manage subcontractor performance and project execution
  • Lead preconstruction efforts including budgeting, scope review, and scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company requirements
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and internal teams
  • Approve pay applications, change orders, and project documentation
  • Drive schedule adherence and resolve project issues proactively
  • Support delivery of mission critical and other highly technical facility projects, adhering to stringent quality, security, and uptime requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience in lieu of degree)
  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams or field operations
  • Strong design/build or general contracting experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
  • Procore experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel as required within assigned projects

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Strong scheduling skills (able to build CPM schedules / Gantt charts)
  • Project financial management (budgeting, cost control, tracking)
  • Prior GC/construction experience
  • Experience with Procore, with the ability to quickly adapt and operate within project-specific workflows and requirements
  • Supervisory/management experience (leading crews, managing subcontractors)
  • Construction knowledge (site experience, means & methods)
  • A strong leader who takes ownership of complex projects
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, field-driven environment
  • A problem solver who can manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • A communicator who can lead teams, clients, and subcontractors effectively
