Requirements
Position Overview
The Middle School Girls Basketball Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach by assisting in practices, games, and overall program management. This role helps provide a supportive, positive, and competitive experience for developing student-athletes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and conducting practices and games.

  • Provide individual and group instruction to student-athletes.

  • Reinforce expectations for sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.

  • Support student academic accountability and eligibility.

  • Assist with program logistics, including equipment and scheduling.

  • Take on leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Head Coach.

Qualifications
  • Previous coaching or playing experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with the sport and CAA standards.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).

  • Fingerprint clearance card (required).
