As an I&D (Install & Dismantle) Supervisor supporting our Dallas division, you'll work directly with our teams on configuring the plans for show and event site set ups while traveling to these sites and supervising show site labor. The individual in this position will also handle some in-house duties to best assist our teams when not traveling. This position comes with many unique challenges and responsibilities, read through and apply if this sounds like the opportunity for you!  


I&D Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Travel to shows as a Derse representative and supervise show site labor & Derse personnel.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers & Account Teams pertaining to put-to-work meetings, work orders, job questions, change orders and show/event site setups.
  • At times, organize multiple installations at a trade show.
  • Prepare check requisitions for show site inventory supplies.
  • Maintain field service equipment.
  • Inventory client properties as needed.
  • Stage and load outbound shipments division.
  • Visually inspect, check for accuracy, apply safety labels, disburse as necessary.
  • Enter receipt of all shop stock items into computer system.
  • When working in the shop, the following will apply:
    • Must be able to lead large client service projects from start to finish, working independently or with assigned service or construction personnel.
    • Must be able to successfully direct display & helper personnel in completing service projects on time and within estimated hours per written work orders.
    • Possess ability to train new service personnel (display/helper) on Derse service policies and procedures for assigned accounts.
    • Must be fully knowledgeable of all client properties for accounts assigned.
    • Must be able to perform minor repairs on assigned client exhibits and properties.
    • Develop strong relationships with assigned clients.
  • Use and setup all necessary power equipment and hand tools.
  • Safely operate a forklift when necessary.
Requirements

I&D Supervisor Requirements & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and 5 - 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous Install & Dismantle experience within industry preferred.
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel for assigned clients / projects required.
