Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, with professional licensure or CMAA Certification preferred.
  • P.E. desired, but not required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in managing large, multi-contract transportation programs.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with proficiency in client presentations and technical reporting and daily interfacing with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and administer contracts, alongside a deep understanding of quality assurance and change management practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the administrative operations of construction management tasks.
  • Ensure the contractual obligations of the construction management staff and contractors are met to achieve client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate the preparation of task orders, invoices, and monthly reports, ensuring projects stay on budget and schedule.
  • Participate in client and project meetings, contractor negotiations, and the development of policies and procedures.
  • Manage and supervise a large team to determine that the CM staff and contractor’s contractual obligations are met, client satisfaction is achieved, and that budget and schedule objectives are attained.
  • Coordinates preparation of analysis, assessment and pricing of new assignments to determine that competent and credible proposals are submitted. Ø Responsible for evaluating the progress and quality of construction activities in conformance with approved schedules and budgets.
