POSITION SUMMARY

Primarily responsible for the coordination and support of credit union deposit products and services and for member assistance in all areas of deposit operations. Responsible for accommodating incoming inquiries from members and branch personnel. Additionally responsible for auditing paperwork related to deposit operation accounts. Provide assistance to branch personnel.


QUALIFICATIONS

Requires an efficient, well organized, friendly person with in-depth experience and diversified knowledge of credit union services and operations. Must possess sound judgment, positive attitude, and enthusiasm for learning. Must provide a professional representation of the credit union and be able to achieve maximum job performance with minimal supervision.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Clear and effective communications abilities required. Must be able to view a terminal screen and operate a computer keyboard. Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Ability to complete detailed documentation and perform mathematical computation is required.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Auditing and maintenance of IRAs and HSAs
  • Auditing paperwork and follow-up activity for all special accounts, business accounts, estates, etc.
  • Process deceased files and provide support to members and branch personnel
  • Provide general member assistance with credit union products and services
  • Assist in developing procedures for deposit products
  • Provide assistance to Vice President/Deposit Operations as needed
  • Provide assistance to Call Center and Front Desk staff as needed
  • Review and process power of attorney documents
  • Process new member applications through online account opening
  • Additional duties as assigned
