Job description

Erias Ventures was founded to serve its customers with an entrepreneurial mindset. We value creative problem-solving, open communication, and empowering our employees to make decisions and put forth new ideas.
Our staff includes technical experts working across multiple disciplines, bringing diverse perspectives to every project. We are seeking engineers who wish to grow their careers and want to become part of a technically strong and growth-oriented company focused on bringing innovative solutions to the difficult mission problems facing our customers.
Description
We are seeking an organized, enthusiastic Operations Assistant to join our small team. If you are looking to launch your career in business operations and want to learn how a company runs from the ground up, this is the perfect spot for you. Working closely with our leadership team, you will handle the day-to-day administrative tasks that keep our business organized and running smoothly.
This is a collaborative, hands-on role where you will get to learn a bit of everything, from human resources and company culture to the basics of government contracting (GovCon). We don't expect you to know everything on day one; we are looking for a proactive team player who is eager to learn, loves helping others, and enjoys variety in their workday.
  • Team & HR Support: Help welcome new team members by assisting with onboarding paperwork, setting up accounts, and keeping our internal HR files organized.
  • Document Formatting: Help prepare team resumes and project summaries using our templates so they look polished, professional, and ready for official government bids.
  • Clearance & Compliance Tracking: Assist with tracking basic security and clearance paperwork, helping ensure our records are up-to-date and organized.
  • Hiring Coordination: Help our team grow by posting open roles online, scheduling interviews, and keeping in touch with applicants so they have a great experience.
  • Daily Office Coordination: Use everyday tools like Google Suite, Microsoft Word/Excel, Slack, and Asana to keep our tasks tracked and daily operations running efficiently.
We are looking for someone with:
  • Great Communication: You will be interacting with our team and external partners, so friendly and professional communication is key.
  • Organization Skills: You love checklists, staying organized, and keeping things on track.
  • Eagerness to Learn: You don't need years of GovCon experience-just a curiosity about how businesses operate and a willingness to learn our processes.
  • A Helpful Attitude: You enjoy stepping in to support the team where needed and feel comfortable asking questions when you need guidance.
This position allows telework.
Required skills:
  • GovCon Background: Direct experience in government contracting recruiting, preferably within a small business environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn, Indeed, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Suite, Asana, and Slack.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of precision in document formatting and administrative tracking.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: You tackle difficult challenges head-on, don't back down in the face of adversity, and stay focused on finding solutions when things don't go according to plan.
  • Strong Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills; able to engage effectively with team members and external candidates
  • Willingness to Learn: A "can-do" attitude and a desire to learn miscellaneous areas of the business, including HR and contract assistance.

Desired skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
