Job Summary:
Suncap Technology is seeking a Senior Solution Architect for a contract position. The role involves managing backup migrations, troubleshooting failures, and ensuring optimal performance of backup and vault environments.
Responsibilities:
• Work within the environment by running migration of backups from Avamar to PPDM
• Opening Change request, presenting in the CAB and post approval migrate the client (agent install, configuring in PPDM, test backup, schedule backup)
• Troubleshoot backup failure on daily basis
• Report progress on migrations to the management on weekly basis
• Assist team with any ADHOC request (restore, RMAN backup/restore etc.)
• Ensure the backup and vault environment are functioning and performing at optimal levels
• Ensure reporting on daily backups in the environment
• Assist Database team with backup related issues
