The Woodbridge office is expanding and seeking an experienced Defense Paralegal to join a growing team handling sophisticated commercial motor vehicle defense UM/UIM premises liability construction accident and product liability matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who values substantive legal work mentorship opportunities and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent subpoena review and summarization of discovery responses and medical records with complete accuracy and efficiency
  • Schedule notice confirm and produce all records related to Independent Medical Examinations while calendaring relevant deadlines with strong follow-up
  • Draft motions to compel sanctions motions for extraordinary relief and motions to enforce subpoenas with precision and attention to detail
  • Perform verdict searches docket searches social media investigations and background searches while working collaboratively in a high-volume fast-paced environment


Qualifications

  • Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience as a defense paralegal (commercial motor vehicle defense UM/UIM premises liability construction accident and product liability experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
