Position Summary

We are seeking an aerospace parts Sourcing Specialist to support our defense aftermarket business. This is a supply chain role focused on researching and sourcing aircraft components, identifying qualified suppliers, securing competitive pricing, and ensuring timely availability to support customer demand and internal operations. You will work across a global supplier network, partnering with OEMs, distributors, and suppliers to locate material, validate availability, and support quoting and purchasing activities. As part of a growing team, this role offers the opportunity to contribute across both operational and commercial activities, including quoting, supplier engagement, and market research.


Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify sources for aerospace components across global supplier networks

• Support RFQ activity by obtaining pricing, availability, and lead times from vendors

• Support customer quoting activities by providing timely and competitive sourcing data

• Obtain and maintain supplier price lists and relevant market intelligence

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners

• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms (Incoterms), and payment terms

• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activity, quotes, and purchase data within ERP/CRM systems

• Coordinate with internal teams including operations, sales, and program management

• Manage supplier communication via email, phone, and virtual meetings

• Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability for key product lines

• Support continuous improvement efforts related to sourcing processes and supplier performance


Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in aerospace sourcing, procurement, or parts research

• Strong understanding of the aerospace aftermarket, with defense distribution experience highly preferred

• Demonstrated experience negotiating pricing, delivery terms (Incoterms), and payment terms

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM/ERP systems; AvSight experience a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to think critically and solve sourcing challenges in dynamic, time-sensitive situations

• Ability to work cross-functionally and support both operational and commercial objectives
